For decades the traditional fish and chip shop has served the humble fish supper to families across Britain every single day. Despite being a cornerstone of our culture the concept has never been updated... until Now!
The Chippy is a casual, family friendly restaurant which since opening in the previously derelict McCormack Lane has offered a fresh and up-market twist on the old school chip shop we all know and love. Its stands in the heart of Glasgow’s City Centre which makes it accessible and easy to find.
You can enjoy traditional favorites such as battered haddock and cod as well as more exotic choices. All will be served in a special recipe batter with traditional hand cut chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce. As if that wasn’t enough, there is also a wide selection of soups and salads available at all times.
A unique addition to this restaurant is the alfresco dining area, also available for private hire for up to 30 guests, meaning customers can appreciate the sunshine during the summer months.

The Club @ One Up is proud to present Friday Night Live, featuring a wealth of local talent from 10pm - 1am, each band’s set list has an array of classics mixing the funk & soul of the 70’s & 80’s to modern classic chart pop & rock.
